Now available as Apple iPhone Game

Finally, it's done: Our award-winning mobile game "Powerboat Challenge" is now available for the Apple iPhone. But instead of just porting the game over to the new platform, we put more effort into the project and improved the games graphics and gameplay.

Thanks to the motion sensors on Apple's mobile phone, you can immerse yourself in the Powerboat races like never before - steer your boat with your phone as if it would be your steering wheel. Additional changes were made to the user interface to make the whole game controllable using the touch screen.

Powerboat Challenge for the Apple iPhone is now available via the App Store with prices starting at 3,99$.

@ Werttingo, neither am I. I think it's overrated and overpriced ... there are far better mobile phones that excel the quality of mobile functions than that of iPhone, and there are also better pocket PCs that excel in their field than iPhone and ofcourse for lower price. iPhone: Jack of all trades master of none

hey? So what about symbians? Is the project closed? Or is this one a hot-baked cake for a dinner? I hope that our (and my own) waitings would be fullfilled. By the way there are phones with the such accelerometer feature. So will it be available in sis release?

Hm, I think that this was a smart move for Fishlabs, because iPhone was such a bang, and lots of people have it If I had one, I certainly would buy PBC (And accelerometer steering should be fun!). However, since it's a great news for iPhone people, I'm more interested in upcoming java games

Have you tried it on your own? I've read some replies over the web about accelerometer steering... And due to them - it's awfull. I haven't tried it by myself so please don't blame me if i'm mistaking.

That's actually the way you steer Powerboat Challenge on the iPhone - but a lot smoother than in that example.
